Special matrices are also available
which can be used for some
calibers of firearms that are characterized by having a ‘custom chambering’
slightly narrower than that
listed in the SAAMI specifications. Basically the characteristics of the dies are
the same ones discussed above, change
only some specific dimensions
which are best suited to certain calibres
custom.
For these custom calibers, matrices are available for resizing the body of the case only or for resizing
of the entire length.
NOTE: For exceptional case shoulder control, the use of the Competition Series shellholder set is highly recommended.
