Kydex MOLLE system. The “Gladio Alato” project was born to provide the personnel of the 66th Airmobile Infantry Regiment “Trieste” with a specific dagger that incorporates the spirit, symbolism and needs of the department. To create it we collaborated with the CFA “Centro Formazione Aeromobile” and created the new 966. The square blade recalls that of the Gladius from which it takes its name and the handle is the classic one of military tactical daggers but with a high-grip workmanship/texture.

Given the type of tactical use of the department, we added details to the pure dagger that make it suitable for emergency use such as a glass breaker with a slot and 2 holes on the guard to allow, in an emergency, the attachment of the knife to other elements.

The 66th Airmobile Infantry Regiment “Trieste” is the only airmobile infantry department of the Italian Army, it is based in Forlì, is part of the Friuli Airmobile Brigade” and is supplied by volunteer personnel.
