The Levenhuk Blitz 80s PLUS telescope is a short focal length achromatic refractor with a large field of view that delivers a high resolution image. Thanks to the large aperture, this telescope is suitable for astrophotography. It is possible to observe outer space and deep sky objects, although the latter not in detail.
This short focal length refractor is very compact, making it an excellent tool for trips away. Furthermore, away from city lights, it will show a clearer and sharper image of the night sky. It can also be used as a telescope for terrestrial observations.
The telescope is installed on a manually controlled equatorial mount. This type of mount is convenient for prolonged observations. Slow-motion control knobs allow you to locate objects in the sky precisely and smoothly. The mount is assembled on an aluminum tripod. The support is stable, adjustable and equipped with an accessory tray in the center. Thanks to the standard focuser, this telescope is compatible with any accessory that has a diameter of 31.75 mm (1.25 inches) (to be purchased separately).
