The Ermenrich Ping SM80 buried cable detector is designed to locate single cables or parallel two-strand cables that are disconnected or powered at low voltage and buried deeply or hidden in walls. It can be used for inspecting land and construction sites before starting construction work, such as, for example, before drilling a wall, carrying out a foundation excavation, etc. The Ermenrich Ping SM80 is also capable of locating circuit breakers and hidden electrical outlets.

The tool includes a transmitter and a receiver. The detection depth is 0.6 meters and the length of the cable under examination can reach 800 meters. When a cable is located, the Ermenrich Ping SM80 beeps. If you are measuring in a noisy environment, where it may be difficult to hear the acoustic signal, simply connect earphones (included) to the receiver.

This instrument is easy to use and its maintenance is very simple , it is only necessary to occasionally recharge the batteries of the receiver and transmitter.
