Infinity-corrected semi-planachromatic optics
The Levenhuk MED 30 series microscopes are equipped with an infinity corrected optical system, used in professional and high-end microscopes. This system includes semi-planar lenses and allows for clear, high-contrast images with an excellent level of planarity.
One of the most important characteristics of the infinity corrected optical system is that it allows the installation of further parts in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece. Additional parts include polarizers (all Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes are equipped with a special slot for their installation), epifluorescence lights and devices. Overall, the modularity and ease of use make the Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes optimal for use in various fields of microscopy, for work in hematology, histology, microbiology and other laboratories.
Optical capabilities
The microscopes are equipped with a 360º rotatable binocular head. A visual node has an inclination angle of 30º and, due to this, long observations do not strain the neck muscles and this allows you to concentrate on the search.
The kit includes two 10x wide-field eyepieces with adjustment diopter and five semi-flat achromatic objective lenses of different magnifications. Three objective lenses have spring structures. A 100x objective is suitable for making observations with the immersion method. The optical elements of all accessories are protected with an anti-fungal coating.
Comfortable working with slides
The mechanical stage can be moved along two aces. Additionally, it has a mechanical scale for precisely positioning a sample under an objective lens. Macrometric and micrometric adjustment are available. Thanks to the gentle movement of the mechanism, sharpness adjustments are made easily and quickly. An Abbe condenser is equipped with an iris diaphragm and also.
Adjustment of the illumination system
The illumination system with brightness adjustment includes an LED 3W and an additional lens to improve brightness. Kohler lighting setting is available. The light is powered by an alternating current source.

Caution:
Refer to the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110V device into the 220V socket and vice versa, without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V and 220–240 V in most European countries.
Some things you can observe under the microscope:
The Levenhuk MED 30B binocular microscope is compatible with Levenhuk digital cameras (purchased separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube, in place of an eyepiece.
