MAGUS Metal D630 digital metallographic microscope - MAGUS
The MAGUS Metal 630 reflected light metallographic microscope is used to examine the microstructure of opaque objects of any height and size. The objects examined are metals, alloys, semiconductors and paint coatings. Microscopy techniques available are bright field and polarized light. One of the advantages of the microscope is its compact size, making it ideal for laboratories with limited working and storage space. The MAGUS Metal 630 microscope is the ideal choice for companies in various sectors, research centers and university departments.

Digital camera
The MAGUS digital camera CBF30 allows you to take photographs and short videos through a microscope, edit the resulting files, organize presentations and perform linear and angular measurements of objects (after proper calibration).
The device is designed to work on microscopes using the bright field method and 4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x objectives.
The 6.3 MP sensor allows you to take bright, detailed photos and videos at a maximum resolution of 3072x2048 px. If necessary, the resolution can be reduced to 1536x1024 px. However, this will not affect the frame rate, which will remain at 59 fps, thus ensuring smooth frame transitions without stuttering or delays.
The color back-illuminated SONY Exmor CMOS sensor allows you to use the camera even in harsh conditions. of low light. The image will remain readable and bright. Using an adapter with 0.5x to 0.75x magnification will provide the clearest image possible, without distortion.
Optics
The Microscope optics are corrected to infinity. The trinocular tube intended for mounting the camera is positioned vertically. You can direct the light beam onto the eyepiece or into the trinocular tube. The camera is not included in the basic configuration. The microscope allows you to work comfortably for many hours thanks to the 30° inclination of the binocular head. The left eyepiece features a diopter correction tool to adjust the optics based on the user's vision.
The nosepiece nosepiece has 5 slots. The kit includes 4 plan achromatic objectives. Once installed, there is a free slot for installing an optional lens. Objectives with a long working distance are designed for brightfield microscopy.
Illumination
The microscope uses only reflected light illumination. The illumination system is composed of a polarization device, an aperture diaphragm and a field diaphragm. Light source: 30W halogen lamp. The light emitted is not dazzling and does not tire the eyes. Both the iris and the light source can be centered. You can also set the Köhler lighting. The kit includes colored filters.
Stage and focusing mechanism
The innovatively designed stand and focusing mechanism has two advantages: compact dimensions and the possibility of observing samples of any height. The microscope can be easily placed on a laboratory floor with a maximum height of 40 cm. Small samples can be examined using a two-axis stage. Focus is adjusted via coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs, located on either side of the stand. The mechanisms work precisely and smoothly. You can also adjust the coarse tension setting.
Accessories
You can upgrade your microscope with optional accessories, such as objectives with a long distance workpiece, eyepieces, digital camera and calibration slides.
