MAGUS Bio D250T digital biological microscope - MAGUS
The MAGUS Bio 230B biological microscope is a professional instrument for the observation of biological samples in transmitted light. The main microscopy technique used is bright field (immediately accessible). It is also possible to use observation techniques in dark field, with phase contrast or polarized light, but they require the use of accessories to be added to the microscope. This microscope is perfect for laboratory observations and research in medical, pharmaceutical, forensic, agricultural and various other fields.

Digital camera
Full color camera with SONY Exmor 2.1 MP digital CMOS sensor. The sensor is produced using backlight technology to reduce light diffusion and increase the sensitivity of the matrix (8935 mV at 1/30 s). The camera produces sharp, bright images even in low-light conditions. Designed for bright- and dark-field observations using objectives with 40x, 60x and 100x magnification.
You can mount the camera on a microscope in two different ways: on the trinocular tube via a C-mount adapter or in place of the 'eyepiece on the tube via an adapter and adapter rings. We recommend using a 0.6x to 0.9x magnification adapter with your camera, which will offer the widest possible field of view without distortion. After installation, the camera connects to a computer via a USB 3.0 port with a data transfer speed of 5 Gbps.
Optics
Planachromatic objectives provide clear, contrast-rich and detailed images with minimal aberrations. The magnification, using the lenses and eyepieces included in the package, ranges from 40x to 1000x, but the upper limit can be increased with the use of additional eyepieces. The optics are infinity corrected, which means that various other accessories can be inserted along the optical path.
The trinocular head is equipped with a separate vertical tube, for housing a digital camera ( not included). This optical tube is placed vertically. The trinocular head is equipped with 360° rotatable optical tubes and it is possible to adjust the diopters with a ring on the left barrel. The design of the trinocular head allows you to easily adjust the eye relief based on the height of the observer.
The nosepiece, with its objectives, is oriented towards the inside of the instrument and can accommodate 5 objectives simultaneously: 4 are included in the package and the fifth slot remains free. An additional lens can provide an additional magnification factor within the available magnification range.
Illumination
The 30W halogen lamp provides bright illumination and allows you to have a good visibility of the sample structures with any observation technique and any objective. The light has a warm color temperature, which is more comfortable for the eyes during long working hours. There is a brightness regulator. The light is powered by the AC mains electricity supply.
Köhler illumination can be configured, thanks to the centrable and height-adjustable Abbe condenser, aperture diaphragm and field diaphragm. There is a slot on the condenser to insert a dark field slider or a phase contrast slider. The use of a slider allows you to quickly switch between observation techniques, thus improving the performance of the microscope.
Stage and focusing mechanism
The coffee table does not have a positioning rack, which makes it more ergonomic. The mechanical insert moves the sample smoothly and can be removed for manual scanning.
Focusing knobs are located on both sides of the microscope, near the base of the stand. Their position allows you to adjust the sharpness of the image by keeping your hands resting on the table, rather than in mid-air, ensuring greater comfort during prolonged observations. The knobs are coaxial (centered on the same axis). The coarse focus mechanism is equipped with a fixing knob and the tension of the coarse screw can be adjusted. In general, the focusing mechanism operates smoothly, without the need to exert excessive force on the knobs to obtain the desired sharpness.
Accessories
The range of optional accessories includes eyepieces, objectives, polarization instruments, dark field condensers, phase contrast devices, calibration slides and digital cameras. Designed specifically for the MAGUS Bio 250T, these accessories adapt perfectly to the microscope and maximize its potential.
