The advantages of the phase contrast method
It is worth emphasizing that this optical instrument also allows phase contrast microscopy. This method improves the contrast and sharpness of images of transparent and semi-transparent samples to a level achievable by the standard method only by treating the samples with dye. Planachromatic optics with infinity correction p>
The Levenhuk MED 45 series microscopes are equipped with an infinity corrected optical system, used in professional and high-end microscopes. This system includes planachromatic objectives and allows the transmission of clear, high-contrast images with an excellent level of planarity.
One of the most important characteristics of the infinity corrected optical system is that it allows the installation of further parts in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece. Additional parts include epi-fluorescence polarizer and devices. Rotatable trinocular head
The viewing part of the trinocular head is inclined by 30°, while the eyepiece tube for a digital camera is vertical. The camera is not included in the kit. The entire head can be rotated around its axis 360°.
Optical capabilities
The rotating lens holder can accommodate five lenses; The kit includes four phase contrast planachromatic objective lenses of various magnifications. High-magnification objectives have spring-loaded mounts. A 100x objective is for oil immersion observations. Wide-field eyepieces allow for handling large specimens and diopter adjustment for the user's vision. The optical system transmits a high-definition, high-contrast image, generates a flat field and reduces chromatic aberration. All accessories are made of optical glass with antifungal coating.
Work comfortably with slides
The stage has a mechanical translator. The table can move in two directions. The phase contrast condenser is only used for observations with the “dry” method. The light is located at the bottom. This is a 5W LED with dimming. You can adjust the sharpness by turning the coarse and fine focus knobs.
The light is powered by an AC adapter.
