Levenhuk MED 40T Trinocular Microscope - LEVENHUK
The Levenhuk MED 40T is a trinocular microscope with an infinitely corrected planachromatic optical system that can serve for professional microscopic studies from 40x to 1000x. The microscope produces a clear, high-contrast image, without distortion, and allows you to study small structures on a completely flattened field. It will be a perfect choice for a professional of a clinical diagnostic laboratory, employee of a scientific research center or educational institution.

Planachromatic optics with infinity correction
The Levenhuk MED 40 series microscopes are equipped with an infinity corrected optical system, used in professional and high-end microscopes. This system includes planachromatic objectives and allows the transmission of clear, high-contrast images with an excellent level of planarity.
One of the most important characteristics of the infinity corrected optical system is that it allows the installation of further parts in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece. Additional parts include epi-fluorescence polarizer and devices. Overall, the modular design and ease of use make the Levenhuk MED 40 microscopes optimal tools to use in various fields of microscopy, for work in hematology, histology, microbiology laboratories and much more.
Rotating head with beam splitter
The trinocular head allows you to simultaneously observe samples in the traditional way and view images on an external screen online. The head includes a binocular viewing part and a separate tube in which a camera can be mounted (the camera is not included in the kit). The visual module is inclined by 30°, thus preventing the neck muscles from stiffening. The tube for a digital camera is vertical. For convenient group observations, you can rotate the head 360°. There is a beam splitter.
Optical capabilities
The optical system includes two wide-field eyepieces and five planachromatic objective lenses. Observations can be made using the standard or oil immersion method (a 100x objective lens is used for oil immersion). The eyepieces have 10x magnification and diopter adjustment. Three objectives with the maximum magnification are equipped with spring-loaded mounts that protect the optics from accidental damage. All optical surfaces of the accessories are protected with an antifungal coating. Coarse and fine focusing is available.
Conveniently work with slides
Under the optical system, there is a stage with a mechanical translator . Below, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. The specimens are illuminated from the bottom with an intense 5W LED light. The brightness of the light is adjustable. Köhler lighting is available.
The light requires an AC power supply. The brightness of the light is adjustable.

Attention: b>
for information regarding the correct mains voltage, consult the specifications table. Never attempt to connect a 110V device to a 220V power outlet and vice versa without using a voltage converter. Please note that mains voltage is 220–240 V in most European countries and 110 V in the United States and Canada.
