Quality optics
The kit includes three objective lenses: 4x, 10x and 40xs. The most powerful lens has a special spring mechanism that protects the optics from accidental damage. In the event of an error during focusing, even if the objective drops to touch the specimen, the spring mechanism behind the lens will cause it to retract, preventing damage to the objective or specimen. The 2x Barlow lens doubles the magnification of any lens used. The maximum magnification factor for this microscope is even 1280x!
The lenses are made of quality optical glass treated with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating for better light transmission. The image produced will always have good contrast and excellent details.
Digital camera
The microscope is equipped with a modern 2 Mpx digital camera. The camera must be installed in place of an eyepiece and then connected to the computer. The enlarged images will then appear on the screen. This way a kid can show interesting samples to parents and friends. A teacher can show all the phases of an experiment to his students. Also, of course, the camera allows you to capture beautiful images and videos of the observed objects.
Combined illumination
The microscope is equipped with two LED lighting sources. Bottom light is used for observing transparent specimens such as thin sections of animal or plant tissue, or a drop of fresh water. Opaque objects, such as paper cloth, should be viewed using overhead lighting. Studying semi-transparent objects requires lighting from both directions. You can also adjust the brightness to best view each specific sample.
Resistant and practical body
The body of the microscope is made of metal, which is why it is a particularly reliable microscope suitable for frequent use. For user convenience the head is tilted at an angle of 45 degrees and rotates 360 degrees around its axis. This feature is particularly useful when working in a group: it will no longer be necessary to move the microscope, just rotate the head.
The microscope is powered by AC mains or standard batteries. The camera is powered via the USB cable.
Caution: Refer to the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110V device into a 220V socket and vice versa, without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V and 220–240 V in most European countries.
Experiment kit
The K50 experiment kit will be particularly useful for those who are taking their first steps into the wonderful world of the microcosm. The kit includes prepared and ready-to-use slides, special tools for creating your own samples and a very useful guide with tips, tips and descriptions of experiments.
Protective case
The plastic case included in the package allows you to keep the microscope and all its accessories in one place, without losing anything. Furthermore, it protects the instrument during transport.
