The Levenhuk 950T DARK microscope is designed for both brightfield and darkfield observations. Thanks to this, its areas of application are much broader than those of a classic laboratory microscope: dark field observation, in fact, allows the analysis of blood in vivo and the study of transparent samples, otherwise difficult to distinguish in ordinary observations. This model proves to be an excellent addition to the range of optical devices of a medical clinic, research center or veterinary practice.
A rotatable trinocular head is installed on the microscope. The vertical optical tube can accommodate a digital camera (purchased separately). This digital camera can be used to transmit the image to a foreign screen and to take photos of samples. The viewing apparatus is slightly inclined, which makes prolonged observations more comfortable. Wide-field eyepieces provide a good view and achromatic objectives create a clear, contrasted image across the entire field of view. The overall magnification of the microscope varies in a range between 40x and 1000x. The 40x and 100x objectives are equipped with a protective spring mechanism.
The stage is equipped with a mechanical shifter. Next to the table, you will find the coarse and fine focus knobs. Below the table, there is a housing for a capacitor. The microscope is equipped with two condensers: a brightfield Abbe with iris diaphragm (for dry and oil observations) and a darkfield condenser for dry use. The light is located in the lower portion: the light source is a powerful LED light with adjustable brightness. Furthermore, there is a collector.
The light is powered by the AC mains.
