The Levenhuk 500T is a laboratory microscope with variable magnification between 40x and 1000x. It is equipped with wide-field achromatic optics, which produce clear and sharp images. Due to the use of halogen light to illuminate the specimen, the image is realistic and all colors and details of the specimen are crystal clear. This microscope is a real jewel for work in research laboratories, medical centers or veterinary practices.
The trinocular head consists of a viewer and a vertical tube for installing a digital camera (not included). It is possible to rotate the head 360°. The kit includes a wide-field eyepiece and four achromatic objectives with different magnifications. The sharpness of the optics is adjustable via the fine and coarse focus knobs located on the base of the microscope. This microscope is designed for brightfield observations. The 100x objective can be used for oil immersion observations. To protect the front lens, the 40x and 100x objectives are equipped with a spring mechanism.
A mechanical translator is installed on the stage which helps to quickly position the sample exactly under the objective. Under the table, there is an Abbe condenser for bright field with adjustable height. Such a condenser has an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. The lighting system consists of a halogen bulb with a collector. The powerful bulb provides uniform and bright illumination of the work area. The brightness of the light is adjustable. The microscope is powered by an AC mains electricity supply.
