MAGUS SFR80 80х/0.80 Plan L Pol ∞/0 objective - MAGUS

Objective for observations in transmitted and reflected polarized light. The lenses do not create distortion or birefringence and do not affect the observation result.

The SFR80 objective has an 80x magnification and a resolution limit of 0.35 µm. It combines with microscopes equipped with an infinity corrected optical system. The parfocal distance is 45 mm. Cover glass is not required for operation.

The objective optics correct the field curvature of more than 90% of the observed area. The image is sharp both in the center and on the sides. The wide field of view is suitable for use together with a digital camera or a wide field eyepiece. A 10x/22mm eyepiece will provide a 0.27mm field of view. Spherical aberration is corrected for the color green, while chromatic aberration is corrected for the colors red and blue.

With the SFR80 model, the lowest limit of the possible magnification of the microscope is 400x and the highest is 800x . To achieve this useful magnification, we recommend pairing the objective with eyepieces with 5x to 10x magnification. Eyepieces with a magnification less than 5x will not be useful for observations, and eyepieces with a magnification greater than 10x will not produce more information.
