The Levenhuk 500M laboratory microscope is the perfect choice for work in the field of histology or any microscopic study requiring staining of specimens. Thanks to the halogen lighting, the images of the slides observed with this have vivid colors and excellent contrast. This model is excellent for any microbiological observation in bright field with incident light.
For greater convenience, the monocular head is inclined at 45° and rotates 360°. The wide-field eyepiece with 10x magnification provides a good view. Achromatic objectives have magnification factors of 4, 10 or 40. Furthermore, the 40x objective is equipped with a retractable spring mechanism to protect the front lens. The magnification factor of the microscope varies between 40 and 400, an optimal range for the study of large and medium-sized structures.
The stage is equipped with the classic clips. Next to the table, you will find the coarse and fine focus knobs. The illumination unit is located in the lower portion of the microscope, immediately below the brightfield condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder. Lighting is provided by a halogen bulb with collector; the brightness is adjustable. The light is powered by the AC mains.
