The first is installed on the iris diaphragm, and the second on a special housing on the microscope head. Polarized light is used for the study of biological tissues in blood, pathological and other research.

The optical elements of the simple polarizing device are made of glass, and the body of the analyzer and polarizer is made of aluminium. It can be installed not only on Levenhuk MED 30/35 microscopes, but also on similar models with infinity corrected lenses.
