Objective for studying the structure of metals and alloys with 80x magnification. The accessory is designed for an infinity corrected optical system. Its parfocal height is 45 mm.

Objects made of metals and alloys are often textured, and manipulating the objective at normal heights can damage the lens or specimen. The Plan objective is installed at a wide working distance of 1.25 mm from the sample. It makes it safe to use for both the lens itself and the object of study. A cover glass is not required for operation.

The plan achromatic lens optics eliminates chromatic aberrations for red and blue colors and spherical aberration for green. The planachromatic objectives form a large working field of view, correcting the curvature up to 90%.

The 80x objective produces a useful magnification of the microscope ranging from 400x to 800x. Its maximum resolution is 0.33 µm. For best observation results, we recommend combining the objective with eyepieces with 5 to 10x magnification.
