MAGUS Metal D630 LCD digital metallographic microscope - MAGUS
The MAGUS Metal D630 LCD reflected light metallographic microscope is used to examine the microstructure of opaque objects of any height and size. The objects examined are metals, alloys, semiconductors and paint coatings. Microscopy techniques available are bright field and polarized light. One of the advantages of the microscope is its compact size, making it ideal for laboratories with limited working and storage space. The MAGUS Metal 630 microscope is the ideal choice for companies in various sectors, research centers and university departments.

Digital camera
The MAGUS digital camera CHD20 is equipped with a 2 MP sensor and produces realistic Full HD images at a resolution of 1920x1080 px. The camera has high light sensitivity suitable for observations with fluorescent light. Using R, G, B primary color mosaic filters produces sharp, low dark current images.
The camera uses an HDMI interface to connect directly to a TV monitor or projector. In this way, the camera operates independently without a PC. The HDMI interface enables fast and stable speed transfer from the camera to the external screen. An additional USB 2.0 interface is available for connecting the camera to a PC.
Video is recorded at 60 fps or 50 fps depending on the video output interface.
The camera combines high FPS speed and high HDMI bandwidth, so videos look brilliant without stuttering or skipping between frames. At maximum resolution, the image is very detailed, moving objects are visible without errors, and the moving object is displayed without delays.
Monitor
MAGUS MCD monitors work in combination with MAGUS CHD cameras to form a complete imaging system for MAGUS microscopes.
The connection to the camera is via its HDMI interface. The monitor displays images in real time. Its IPS LCD display has a wide viewing angle, high brightness and good contrast. When looking at the screen even from a wide angle, the image is not distorted. The screen size is 13.3''.
The monitor can be installed on a horizontal surface using a foldable stand or mounted directly on a camera or tripod.
Optics
Optics
strong>The microscope optics are corrected to infinity. The trinocular tube intended for mounting the camera is positioned vertically. You can direct the light beam onto the eyepiece or into the trinocular tube. The camera is not included in the basic configuration. The microscope allows you to work comfortably for many hours thanks to the 30° inclination of the binocular head. The left eyepiece features a diopter correction tool to adjust the optics based on the user's vision.
The nosepiece nosepiece has 5 slots. The kit includes 4 plan achromatic objectives. Once installed, there is a free slot for installing an optional lens. Objectives with a long working distance are designed for brightfield microscopy.
Illumination
The microscope uses only reflected light illumination. The illumination system is composed of a polarization device, an aperture diaphragm and a field diaphragm. Light source: 30W halogen lamp. The light emitted is not dazzling and does not tire the eyes. Both the iris and the light source can be centered. You can also set the Köhler lighting. The kit includes colored filters.
Stage and focusing mechanism
The innovatively designed stand and focusing mechanism has two advantages: compact dimensions and the possibility of observing samples of any height. The microscope can be easily placed on a laboratory floor with a maximum height of 40 cm. Small samples can be examined using a two-axis stage. Focus is adjusted via coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs, located on either side of the stand. The mechanisms work precisely and smoothly. You can also adjust the coarse tension setting.
Accessories
You can upgrade your microscope with optional accessories, such as objectives with a long distance workpiece, eyepieces, digital camera and calibration slides.
