The 60x planachromatic lens corrects chromatic aberration for red and blue colors and spherical aberration for green. The field of view is in focus both at the center and at the edges – 90%. Therefore, the objective works well with eyepieces with a wide field of view of 22mm. The highest image detail is achieved in combination with eyepieces with 5 to 15x magnification. Pairing with a 10x/22 mm eyepiece will produce a field of view of 0.36 mm.

The maximum resolution of the objective is 0.39 µm. The model generates a useful magnification under the microscope from 350x to 700x.
