The Levenhuk Discovery Atto Polar digital microscope is a biological optical microscope with 5 MP digital camera. It can be used to visualize the microcosm as well as to save sample images in photo or video format. The microscope has a magnification range between 40x and 1000x, thus allowing a detailed study of the sample, regardless of its degree of transparency, and the possibility of conducting experiments with immersion of the objective in oil. An in-depth educational book about the microcosm is included in the kit.

Achromatic optics, magnification range between 40x and 1000x

The monocular head can be rotated 360° around the vertical axis. The 45° inclination of the head guarantees greater comfort during prolonged observations. The optical system includes a 10x wide-field eyepiece with center-of-field pointer and four achromatic objectives with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x magnification. The 40x and 100x objective lenses are equipped with a spring mechanism for additional protection. The instrument is equipped with macro and micrometric focusing.

Double LED lighting

The microscope stage is completed with a mechanical translator for easy use. optimal sample micro-preparation techniques. The lighting system consists of variable intensity LED lights. The upper lighting above the table and the lower lighting below. Both lights can be powered by batteries (not included) or by AC adapter (AC adapter is included in the kit). The microscope is equipped with an Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and a filter holder.

5 MP digital camera for photo and video capture

The 5 MP camera gives this model an edge over the competition. The camera can be installed in the optical tube of the head instead of the eyepiece and connected to a computer via USB cable. Installation of the software is required using the supplied CD. The camera is capable of uploading images in real time to a computer screen with 2592x1944 resolution, as well as taking photos and recording videos. Basic image processing features are available for both photos and videos.

The educational book “Invisible World” is included in the kit

The book “Invisible World” allows you to quickly learn how to use a microscope and how to orient yourself in the variety of the microcosm. The in-depth volume is written in easy-to-understand language and contains lively illustrations. It also explains scientific theories and prepares students to apply this knowledge in practice. Simple scientific experiments can be performed at home with the help of this educational text.
