The Levenhuk Discovery Nano Polar digital microscope is a monocular biological microscope with a 0.3MP digital camera. It can be used both for classic observations and for the creation of a digital research archive. The camera allows you to view images on the external screen, take photos and record videos of your searches. The kit includes an illustrated educational book on the wonders of the microcosm.
Achromatic glass optics
The optical system includes a 10x wide-field eyepiece and three achromatic objectives: 4х, 10х and 40х. The 40x objective is equipped with a retractable spring protective mechanism. The magnification range of the microscope is from 40x to 400x. Since its optics are made of glass, the device transmits a clear, high-contrast image, allowing you to examine even the smallest details of a sample.
Double LED illumination
The lighting system consists of two LEDs positioned above and below the table. The beam size of the lower LED can be adjusted using the diaphragm disc. The lighting is powered by batteries (not included). The stage comes with simple clips to secure the slide.
0.3MP digital camera for capturing photos and videos
The digital camera 0.3 MP can be installed in place of the eyepiece and connected to the computer via USB cable (included in the kit). For its correct functioning, it is necessary to install software. The software installation CD is included in the kit. Please check the system requirements listed in the specifications. The camera is powered via the USB cable and expands the capabilities of the microscope. The maximum resolution is 640x480 pixels and it is possible to record videos with a high frame rate: 30 frames per second. Basic image processing functions (brightness adjustment, image resizing, etc.) are also available
The educational book "Invisible World" is included*
To make the exploration of the microcosm even more interesting, we have added the educational book "Invisible World" to the kit. Talk about how microscopes work and explain what protozoa, microbes, mold, bacteria, and many other objects and creatures are that can be studied under the microscope. The book contains descriptions of fascinating scientific experiments that you can conduct right at home.
An important distinctive element of this microscope: it is sold accompanied by a Levenhuk Discovery Flora and Fauna set which includes 24 slides with already prepared samples.
