The Levenhuk 400T is a classic trinocular microscope with a binocular viewer and vertical tube for installing a digital camera. This microscope is a great choice for laboratory use. The microscope is equipped with achromatic optics and LED illumination. It is possible to carry out observations with the bright field and oil immersion method.
The microscope head is rotatable and therefore practical for group work. The binocular viewer is inclined at 30°, making prolonged observations with this microscope more comfortable. The 10x eyepieces guarantee a wide field of view, while the achromatic optics reproduce the details of microscopic structures clearly and sharply. The objectives, with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x magnification, are installed on a nosepiece revolver. The overall magnification of the microscope ranges from 40x to 1000x. It should be noted that this microscope allows oil immersion observations using a 100x objective. Furthermore, the 40x and 100x objectives are equipped with a protective retractable spring mechanism.
The stage is equipped with a mechanical shifter. Next to the table, you will find the fine and coarse focus knobs. Immediately below the table, there is an Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder. The lighting system consists of an LED light with collector, positioned in the lowest part of the instrument. The system has adjustable brightness and is powered by batteries or via an AC mains. The body of the microscope is made of metal.
