MAGUS SF100 DRY 100х/0.80 Plan Pol ∞/0.17 objective - MAGUS

Planachromatic objective for observations in polarized transmitted light. The lenses of the polarizing objective are designed to create neither distortion nor birefringence within the optical system.

Lenses with plan achromatic optics create a sharp image both in the center and at the sides. This is possible by correcting the geometric aberration of more than 90% of the visible field area. Therefore, they combine perfectly with a digital camera or eyepieces with a large field of view. The combination with a 10x/22 mm eyepiece forms a field of view of 0.22 mm. Additionally, planachromatic objectives correct chromatic aberration in two colors (red and blue) and spherical aberration in one color (green).

The MAGUS SF100 DRY model has a magnification of 100x and a limit of resolution of 0.35 µm. It guarantees a possible magnification of the microscope from 400 to 800x, but requires eyepieces with a magnification of 5x to 10x. A lower magnification will not allow you to effectively study the sample, while a higher magnification will not provide new data. A 0.17 mm thick cover glass is used for the sample.
