Levenhuk 3 calibration slide - LEVENHUK

A calibration slide (micrometer) is required to adjust the image analysis program. With its help, a correction factor is determined which allows to increase the measurement accuracy. The Levenhuk 3 slide is suitable for microscopes of any brand and is made of optical glass with standard dimensions.

Three micrometer scales are applied to the slide: with division values of 0.1 mm, 0.01 mm and 0.05 mm.

How to use the calibration slide:

1. Secure the slide on the microscope stage.
2. Rotate the nosepiece to select the working target.
3. Set the camera in shooting mode at maximum resolution and then take a photo of the scale.
4. In the analysis program images, select the calibration mode, use the mouse to indicate the maximum visible distance, and then enter the resulting value in real units.
5. Enter the name of the calibration and double-check the values.
6. If everything is done correctly, the program will remember the correction factor and, in the future, independently convert the values to the required units of measurement.
