The Levenhuk 320 PLUS microscope is a laboratory model for professional observations. It is suitable for carrying out morphological, hematological, biochemical and many other research in laboratories of medical institutes and scientific and research centres. Assistants and university professors can use the Levenhuk 320 PLUS for their lessons to medical and healthcare professions students.
The microscope features achromatic optics that provide a contrast-rich, sharp and detailed image, without optical aberrations . Thanks to the included eyepieces, the microscope creates a planar and wide field of view, which allows you to observe large objects with a complicated structure. The head of the monocular microscope can be rotated 360°. The microscope has a magnification range of 40–1600x. The 100x objective allows you to use the oil immersion method; a bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit.
The samples are fixed on a stage. The stage can be moved along two axes: the mechanical translator is used for precise positioning of the samples under the objective. To adjust the sharpness, a coaxial mechanism for coarse and fine adjustment of the focus is used.
The LED lighting at the bottom of the microscope is used to illuminate the sample under examination and is equipped with adjustment of brightness. The optical beam passes through an Abbe condenser which regulates its brightness via an iris diaphragm. The kit includes optical filters that increase the contrast and sharpness of the observed image. The lighting can be powered by AC mains or batteries. Therefore, it is possible to use Levenhuk 320 PLUS even outdoors, during field expeditions and seminars.
